SENIOR STYLE | Goodhart Photography, Loudoun County Senior Pictures
I call this my "Snow White and the Huntsman" pose. Okay so it's not snowing and this Potomac Falls, Virginia senior (Dominion High School, Class of 2013) is looking right at the camera and she's blonde and there isn't a red apple in sight, but there's a scene in the movie that has been the inspiration for my climbing onto tables and ladders to shoot from above.
So I've been busy lately, between senior portraits and family portraits and the Broad Run High School Varsity Cheerleading squad in Ashburn, VA -- there hasn't been much time to actually blog. But fortunately blog neglect is not a crime, and I can tell by the stats that people still check in from time to time, so here I am with an update.
This gorgeous girl with the auburn hair also attends Dominion High School. She is incredibly bright, she got a perfect score on her SATs!
And here is an Ashburn VA, Broad Run High School senior, rocking the vintage hippie chic look.
And here are the Broad Run High School varsity cheerleaders; I recently photographed the squad in Ashburn, VA and designed this awesome poster for them!
And last but not least, here is a high school senior from Langley High School in Great Falls. I just love her exotic look.
And that's it for now!

SENIORS, SENIORS, SENIORS! | Goodhart Photography, Northern Virginia High School Senior Portrait Artist
Ah, again my neglected blog. It is so hard to find the time in the fall to blog, when so many high school seniors and families need their portraits taken!
Anyway, isn't this Ashburn, VA High School Senior just adorable? I don't know what we are feeding kids here in Loudoun County to make them so stunning, but high school senior pictures have come a long way since I was a senior at Herndon High School. This particular Stone Bridge High School senior is not only gorgeous, but is also an artist and an incredible dancer.
Here we are at Meadowlark Gardens in Vienna, a wonderful photography destination any time of year. Professional photographers must pay $25 in order to use the park, but it is well worth the money.
This beautiful, elegant girl attends Dominion High School in Potomac Falls, VA and is a gifted musician.
This senior (who is one of my senior models) attends Oakton High School in Oakton, Virginia. She's a singer and theatrical performer, so her expressive dramatic eyes serve her well.
She's also an avid reader, both printed books and e-books.
I'll close out with a few pictures of another senior model. This vibrant senior is homeschooled, and is an excellent equestrian.
Since I don't have a horse portrait resized, I'll end with this portrait and use the horses in another post.

STONE BRIDGE CLASS OF 2013 | Goodhart Photography, Northern Virginia Senior Portraits Photographer
Such a beautiful, down to earth girl -- I totally loved photographing her. We were up at the crack of dawn and met at a local (Loudoun County) waterfall. She was game for anything, sitting in a pile of weeds (after I stomped around in there making sure there were no critters).....
burying herself into a leafy bush (after I brushed out all the cobwebs)...
and just flashing me that gorgeous smile.

DANCE DANCE DANCE | Goodhart Photography, Loudoun County High School Senior Portraits
Years ago, when I was starting Goodhart Photography, I photographed this gorgeous dancer in the woods in Algonkian Park.
You can see that post here.
I really enjoyed seeing how much she has matured as a person and a dancer -- such beautiful lines and excellent control! She currently dances with the Joan Izzo Dance Studio in Chantilly.
Enjoy the images! And if you'd like portraits of your own dancer, please give me (Angela) a call at 703. 431.3508

ROBINSON HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR NIGHT -- Girls Basketball | Goodhart Photography, Northern Virginia Event Photographer
An exciting varsity girls basketball game between Robinson High School and Herndon High School on Friday night! I forgot how much fun high school basketball is to watch. I recently saw the Wizards at the Verizon Center, and we were in the nose-bleed section and it just isn't the same as seeing the action unfold literally a few feet away from you.
Anyway, I attended on behalf of an old friend and coworker, and had a great time. Enjoy the pictures!
